As a Lighting designer am very interested to know more about the lighting design part of  the project and the way the designers placed lights to get these brilliant effects .  As far as i know , in most of the good lighting designers try to hide the light fixtures to get best result . I always look for the fixture to understand the techniques and the way to hide light fixture brilliantly. 

I will share  some of my designing tips  to hide light source for best result especially situations like –  sometimes we like the effect of lights in particular position and there is no provision to install lamp on particular area ,so you could use below ideas .  

• Choose the right body color for the fixture to match with the structure or object  so viewers will not notice the light fixture easily.   

• Use glare control accessories 

• If cant place the fixture on the structure , then use a narrow beam angle light fixture and place the light far away from object that no one will notice the source of light easily  

• Create a profile for fixture that matched with color and finish of the structure and place fixture inside that profile and mount it on the structure . So the source of light will be hidden from the viewing angle .
